Welcome to the Continental Divide Association of Southern Baptist Churches where there are 32 congregations ministering to people throughout south-central Colorado: from the fertile San Luis Valley, to villages high in the Rocky Mountains and in towns along the rivers that flow from sources near the beautiful mountain peaks of our region.

CDA extends from the border of New Mexico on the south to  Interstate 70 on the north. It includes the San Luis Valley, the upper Arkansas River Valley, and the highest part of the Gunnison River and its tributaries.

Nearly 100,000 people live and work in the eleven Colorado Counties where CDA churches serve. This number increases many-fold during the summer travel season, offering special ministry challenges to our congregations as they attempt to provide services and ministry to as many residents and guests as possible.

The CDA works in partnership with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Colorado Baptist Convention, the North American Mission Board, SBC, and with the International Mission Board, SBC.
