Continental Divide Association of Southern Baptist Churches is best known just as “CDA!”  Located in the mountains and valleys of south-central Colorado, CDA is a collection of churches from about 7,000 feet in altitude to 10,200 feet at Leadville, CO. In the highlands of Colorado, CDA is working for the Kingdom of God in the midst of His most beautiful creation.

Who are we? — Continental Divide Association of Southern Baptist Churches (“CDA”) is a regional organization of churches that is dedicated to “Equipping, Networking, Resourcing and Supporting Pastors and Churches for Missions, Ministry and Maturity.”

What does that look like? — Through its staff and structures, the association strives to provide:

  • Events and programs that equip Christians for Missions and Ministry
  • Networking for Churches to be mutually involved in missions and ministry
  • Effective Support and Resources for Pastors and Churches
  • Fraternal and Supportive Relationships for Ministers and their families

How do we do what we do? — The CDA is organized into four “Teams” that carry on the work of the Association:

  • The On-mission Team – lead by Pastor Willie Isaacson of Trinity Baptist Church in Gunnison, CO
  • The Church Development Team – lead by Pastor Dub Chambers of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Poncha Springs, CO
  • The Pastor Relations Team – lead by Pastor Wil Etherton of College Heights Baptist Church in Alamosa, CO
  • The Administration Team – lead by the Director of Missions and the Associational Moderator. This is the “Executive Board” of the CDA.
